Rogers leads Rangers past A's

Through three innings, Rich Harden looked like the same pitcher that turned the American League to mush in his first four career starts last year. He struck out the first two batters he faced and had five punchouts through three frames. But after allowing two runs in the fourth, Harden gave up four in the fifth without getting an out.

Kenny Rogers obviously feels quite comfortable at The Ballpark in Arlington. The 39-year-old Rangers pitcher notched his 38th win there on Thursday, the most by any pitcher in the stadium's 10-year history, in a dominating victory over the A's. Rogers (2-0) cruised through seven innings, allowing five hits and walking two.
